Manager Accounting And Reporting Poland

• Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

• Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) 

The Role

The role has responsibility for end-to-end R2R process management for Poland team. The role should ensure efficient preparation and submission of all periodic financial reporting deliverables for the business unit within the required deadlines, at the required quality.

What You'Ll Do

• Develop and maintain a motivated and high-performing team
• Ensure timely and accurate R2R accounting and reporting in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for BU results
• Manage operational issues and challenges faced by team, and ensure close dialog with Service Receiver (Circle K Business Unit and Reporting department in Headquarters, Laval) and various stakeholders in Europe and North America
• Ensure development of, compliance to and maintenance of internal controls in accordance with the Company guidelines
• Drive process improvements, quality and standardization efforts for accounting and financial reporting processes
• Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure timely completion
• Other duties instructed by direct superior

What You'Ll Need

• Strong background (7+years) in finance, financial controlling, accounting or audit field, within an international work environment
• Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in accounting, economics or finance field
• Fluent English language skills (oral and writing) to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and/ or Financial Controlling, ACCA or CFA qualification is an advantage
• Excellent leadership and talent development skills
• Ability to diagnose problems and resolve in a timely and manner
• Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset
