We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate HR Advisor. This position reports to Head of HR Marine EMEA and will work in (Dometic Selsey Office Location).

About The Position

As a HR Advisor in the HR team, you will provide comprehensive all-round recruitment advise. Along with the co-ordination of internal recruitment needs. From sources appropriate methods to contract and onboarding processes., gives counsel regarding their human resource policies and procedures. Main duties include offering guidance on employee relations, recruitment and retention, evaluating employee performance and maintaining legal compliance.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Promote the organisation strategy and values
  • Assist in organisation design and restructure
  • Complete benchmarking for all Marine EMEA employees
  • Provide advice and guidance for disciplinary and grievance investigations and associated hearings.
  • Responsible for ensuring implementation of accurate policies and procedures
  • Working with the senior leadership / department managers to understand and give recommendations for the training and development opportunities including succession planning and talent management
  • Support managers with absence management and ensure absence procedures are followed
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation to ensure organisation is compliant
  • Be the first point of contact for HR advice
  • HR Administration
  • Develop recruitment strategies and report to Head of HR
  • Liaise with department managers in the update of all job descriptions and person specifications.
  • Proactive in sourcing candidates which includes searching CV databases plus connecting & engaging with great people on LinkedIn & social media.
  • Ensure all right to work checks are completed and in line with UK legislation including permits, visa applications ensuring smooth process of all parties.
  • Ensure all employee contracts are legally compliant and aligned with organisational needs.
  • Handle performance management, including probationary periods and annual appraisals, and manage employee relations issues effectively.
  • Liaising with recruitment providers
  • Process all new employee onboarding and set up and run induction training.
  • Communicate with candidates, managers, and agents with regards to interview feedback
  • Ensure the update of all social media and recruitment sites are up to date and maintained.
  • Preparing associated paperwork for pre/post-employment as applicable
  • Providing assistance in interviews when needed including making sure all of the necessary paperwork is ready, gathering relevant compliance documents & notetaking.
  • To help with administration and project management as and when given by Head of HR
  • To help in any other areas as required
  • Anything else as deemed appropriate by the management team

A suitable background would be a solid experience within HR and Manufacturing as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Experience within a Recruitment / HR environment
  • IT knowledge of Microsoft applications, Power point, Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Customer service, both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • An excellent eye for detail and a professional manner on the phone and in person

To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

  • L5HR Practice Diploma
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • College level and above educated
  • Confidentiality ·Excellent time and project management skills
  • Ability to Multitask ·Self motivated, focused and able to work on your own initiative
  • Strong organizational skills
