About the Role:
Marshall Health Network is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Analyst to support clinical leadership teams across our network in optimizing capital equipment and supply chain operations. This individual will serve as a vital link between clinical departments, supply chain operations, physician recruitment, and vendors—driving standardization, cost savings, and compliance across MHN facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and summarize capital equipment needs, aligning with equipment life cycles and performance data
- Negotiate best pricing and manage tracking of service agreements
- Support physician product requests, trials, and budgeting efforts
- Serve as liaison between clinicians and the supply team for substitute item approvals
- Collaborate with vendor representatives while ensuring credentialing compliance
- Mentor assigned Contracts Analyst and assist in their development
- Develop and lead departmental collaborative committees focused on alignment and standardization
System-Specific Duties:
- Work with clinical and supply chain leadership to implement cost-effective strategies
- Plan and manage multi-disciplinary projects to enhance quality and financial outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive records of equipment and service contracts
- Create and analyze monthly dashboards, scorecards, and cost/revenue reports
- Evaluate and report on proposed operational changes in line with MHN goals
- Lead analysis of equipment and supply requests via the PENT committee
- Engage with GPOs and purchasing collaboratives to identify and implement savings opportunities
- Ensure successful execution of product trials with clear data collection and communication
- Support compliance with TJC standards and internal policies
- Facilitate communication with physician recruiting on current contracts and supply information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience in clinical or hospital supply chain management
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Experience working with vendors and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of TJC standards and healthcare compliance requirements
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GPOs and hospital procurement systems
- Project management and process improvement experience
- Ability to interpret and act on financial and operational data
