Join a mission-driven healthcare team committed to improving the well-being of our employees and their families. Marshall Health Network is seeking a compassionate and analytical Registered Nurse to serve as a Health Advocate within our Employee Health team.
About The Role:
As a Health Advocate (RN), you’ll lead efforts to improve health outcomes and manage chronic conditions for our employee health plan enrollees. This includes coordinating disease and case management programs, analyzing utilization data, and providing one-on-one health coaching. You’ll work closely with HR leadership and wellness teams to ensure employees understand and effectively use their benefits—improving both individual health and organizational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct health risk assessments to identify at-risk individuals.
- Design and coordinate disease management programs (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma).
- Monitor high utilizers of healthcare services and provide targeted intervention.
- Analyze health claims data to predict trends and opportunities for proactive care.
- Coach employees on benefit usage and cost-saving strategies.
- Collaborate with Employee Wellness and provider networks.
- Track key health metrics (e.g., ED visits, PMPM costs, preventive screenings) and report on program outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all organizational policies and compliance standards.

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license in the State of West Virginia required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:
- Background in case management, employee wellness, or occupational health preferred

Skills:
- Strong analytical and computer skills (data analysis, predictive modeling)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-directed, compassionate, and goal-oriented
