Financial Analyst

Marshall Health Network is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst position with our MHN Budget Department. 

The MHN Budget department is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will support financial planning and analysis across the organization (including Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Rivers Health, and Marshall Health) by preparing reports, maintaining budget systems, and assisting department leaders with budgeting and productivity initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute monthly actual vs. budget departmental reports
• Prepare and submit monthly B9 data
• Prepare and submit quarterly Vizient ODB data
• Maintain and update budget/reporting software (Axiom)
• Assist department leaders with annual budget preparation
• Set annual targets and support department leaders with productivity application (PEAK)
• Respond to ad hoc financial data requests from internal and external parties

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, hospital administration, or other applicable degree. 

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years working with healthcare finance
