The Opportunity
As part of the Cancer Support Services team and reporting to the Cancer Support Services Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of special projects, as well as assisting with program monitoring and data collection.
Based in Subiaco, this is a permanent part-time position (0.4 FTE), with flexibility to negotiate the preferred working day.
What You’Ll Be Doing:
- Support effective program monitoring and review through timely and accurate data capture
- Maintain data accuracy by reviewing, identifying issues, and implementing solutions
- Collate and report statistics from databases as required
- Conduct effective program review and evaluation, ensuring timely reporting
- Assist with project implementation in line with plans and timelines
- Support program review and evaluation alongside program coordinators
- Provide administrative support for program and service management
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement through evaluation activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in health, social sciences, or a related field
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs
- Strong skills in data management and maintaining information systems
- Well-developed critical thinking and analytical abilities
- Advanced computer and keyboard skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant databases
- The ability to produce high-quality reports and data tables across multiple platforms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of the health sector (highly desirable)
- A demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the values of Cancer Council WA
