JOB DESCRIPTION 
We are seeking a Security Delivery Specialist to join our Managed Services team. In this operational role, you will enhance clients’ security posture by optimizing Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Defender for Identity, implementing quick-win initiatives such as ASR rules and Security Score recommendations, and fine-tuning Defender policies beyond existing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to implement security improvements, automation, and compliance measures while maintaining operational excellence within defined service levels.

• Key Responsibilities:
•     Enhance security posture by configuring and optimizing Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Defender for Identity Protection.
•     Implement quick-win initiatives, including ASR rules and Security Score recommendations, and fine-tune existing Defender policies.
•     Support audits and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
•     Identify and implement automation and innovation opportunities to improve efficiency and add client value.
•     Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to design, build, and maintain effective security controls.
•     Maintain operational and security standards within service level agreements (SLAs).
•     Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to team members on Microsoft Defender best practices.
•     Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and technologies to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements
•    Must possess (or be eligible to obtain) Canadian security clearance for government sector work.
•    Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
•    Experience with Microsoft Defender policies and security administration.
•    Experience with Cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
•    Bachelor’s or college degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
•    Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•    Knowledge of Cloud Security Architecture and Managed Cloud Security Services is a plus.
 

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
