Need for the role
We currently have one collector in our Finance organization who is solely focused on driving growth and collections in our Essentials business. We need a dedicated full time employee for our Core Business Collections who will be instrumental in driving down our DSO and DSO Late and continuing to bring in cash quicker.

Summary
We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Order to Cash Senior Manager, the Specialist will own and drive the day-to-day operations of Collections across all core entities. This role is responsible for ensuring data and invoice accuracy through collection, vendor onboarding, and AR Aging reporting. The role requires a strong partnership within the Order to Cash team, along with several teams across the company, including Deal Desk, Global Services, Legal team, and Customer Success.
What you'll do
● Assist in preparing daily / weekly / monthly Collections reports and reconciliations.
● Review A/R aging report to determine status of collections; work with Supervisor and Senior Manager to set KPIs, and ensure maximum return on collection efforts
● Develop continuous business process improvements, system enhancements, and enhance documentation and controls as needed
● Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients to drive collections and client experience
● Contact customers who are potentially a collection risk and bring them up to date by creating realistic payment plans or escalate internally to potentially suspend the account
● Help create summary level data on the status and health of collections to internal stakeholders
● Partner with our Legal and Customer Success team to manage exceedingly overdue accounts in a customer focused manner
● Participate in ad hoc projects as they arise (e.g., preparation of audit support)
What experience you'll bring with you
● 2-3 years of collections experience in a multi-national company
● Self-starter disposition with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
● Strong computer skills MS Office / GSuite programs; NetSuite; AI
● Passion for driving continuous improvement in yourself and within your team
● Demonstrated success working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
