CLINICAL COORDINATOR – MUNDA MIA THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY
About The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator to join our team at our Munda Mia Therapeutic Community (MMTC). The role will ensure the effective running of the Therapeutic Community (TC) program within a residential setting.
The Clinical Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Service Manager and deliver evidence-based, best practice residential treatment services to the residents of the program whilst meeting outcomes and funding performance indicators.
The Clinical Coordinator is required to work in the context of a TC, facilitating Community as Method (CAM) treatment approach and providing leadership and support to the team.
About The Program:
MMTC is a 20-adult-bed female-only program (including the staffing team) where residents have the opportunity to bring their children into treatment. The program focusses on alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment and Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) issues, as well as co-occurring mental health concerns, parenting support, and mitigating women returning to homelessness.
Due to the nature of this role, in accordance with the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, division 5, section 27, this position is to be occupied by females only.
The position will be located at Munda Mia Therapeutic Community, located in Kalamunda.
Level 6/7 $115,053 -$126,889 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)

To be appointed / successful in this role, you will require the following key qualifications, skills, and experience:
- A degree in social, behavioural, or health sciences.
- Well-developed leadership skills.
- Experience managing and supporting a team, maintaining cooperative relationships with stakeholders, showing initiative, and operating with sound judgement.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of treatment for people with AOD issues, such as group work, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and counselling.
- Solid experience and demonstrated skills working with women and children who have experienced the impacts of FDV.
- Solid experience and demonstrated skills working with children in a therapeutic setting.
- Solid experience in providing clinical supervision and oversight of a clinical program targeted at vulnerable client groups.
- Experience working within a culturally secure framework, with a focus on Aboriginal residents and staff.
- Excellent communication skills and competence using the Microsoft suite.
- Adept in self-management and organising multiple tasks within a team environment.
- A commitment to promoting and upholding the Vision, Mission, and Values of Cyrenian House in all aspects of the role.
- Full work rights, National Police Clearance, current Working with Children’s Check, current First Aid Certificate, and Driver's Licence.
