Having grown significantly over the past decade, both organically and via practice purchases and are continuing to expand. As part of this journey, we are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner with our director group and help shape the firm’s strategic future.

About The Opportunity

This newly created leadership position combines the strategic oversight of the Managing Director’s role with the operational influence of a COO. Reporting to and working closely with the director group, you will drive strategic initiatives, strengthen internal operations and champion cultural excellence, empowering the director group to focus on client delivery and business growth.

Upon building an understanding the business and its dynamics, you will move into leading implementation such as executing on strategy, driving change, and embedding new initiatives to deliver improved profitability, productivity, and culture.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Assist the director group to shape and execute business strategy.
  • Oversee compliance and operational performance to support sustainable growth.
  • Act as a central point for director liaison, special projects and external representation.
  • Lead and empower the People & Culture and Marketing teams to drive a people-first culture, strengthen engagement, deliver innovative marketing strategies that enhance the firm’s brand and support business growth.
  • Bring fresh ideas, perspective and innovation to improve systems, service delivery and client experience.

About You

You are an inspiring and strategic leader who thrives on building people, processes, and performance. You have a history of delivering results and leading teams in dynamic environments, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.

You are experienced in driving organisational change and are confident working with executive teams or boards. While experience in consulting, accounting, legal, or professional services is highly valued, strong leaders from any industry who can demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership and transformational impact are encouraged to apply.

  • Interest in or exposure to the agriculture sector is a bonus, but not essential.

Ideally this is a full-time role, but we may consider a part-time role for the right applicant.
