The Opportunity:
As data visualization expert, you love diving into data, understanding relationships between different data products, and turning insights into high quality visualizations. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful visuals to solve challenges. As a data visualization developer at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good.  We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to enhance data-driven decision making in the DoD.

As a client-facing developer on our Global Defense team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to build tools to interact with their data. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you will be critical in enabling the mission to make the most out of it by streamlining cost analysis in the acquisition process.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience creating and deploying Qlik applications
• 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining using Python
• 5+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources  
• Experience developing relational data models for customer use cases
• Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs 

• Secret Clearance

• Bachelor’S Degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience developing and deploying Qlik applications on the Advana platform
• Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL 
• Experience with Distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL  
• Experience with cloud applications such as AWS or Databricks
• Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
