Your Role at KIK 

At KIK, we are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team (Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed). In this role, you will be responsible for updating, organizing, and maintaining all data within system to ensure accurate work order management, asset tracking, and preventive maintenance scheduling. This role supports the maintenance and operations teams by keeping the system current, user friendly, and aligned with business needs. This position offers an hourly rate of $28.00 and is eligible for a 3% quarterly bonus. What You’ll Be Doing 

• Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records: Review production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.
• Requisition material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.
• Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Computes amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
• Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.
• May move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment.
• May arrange for repair and assembly of material or part.
• Required to handle and schedule all support equipment callouts.
• Ensured a quality delivery to time, scope and budget and provide status updates to Project managers on a regular basis.
• Manage the complete purchase order cycle, from purchase request to invoice validation and purchase order closing.
• Working knowledge of procurement systems (Oracle) is an asset.
• Office duties such as copying, faxing, filing etc.

What You’Ll Bring

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma with excellent mathematics and problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years’ experience in role within manufacturing environment
• EAM system experience highly desirable
• Must have good organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office Programs: Outlook, Excel and Word
• Must be flexible to work either 1st or 2nd shifts.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders.
• Using hands and arms together to move various items.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to work in an Industrial Environment.
