Core Functions:
• Works closely with Chief People Officer to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to the current and future talent needs, retention, and succession planning.
• Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, benefits, compensation, etc.
• Provides support and guidance to the Chief People Officer, HR Generalists, Talent Acquisition Manager, management, and other staff when questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
• Oversee performance management program
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Conduct exit interviews with all full-time employees leaving the organization to determine the reason for separation.
• Counsel Employees and Managers on Medical Leave of Absences to Ensure Compliance with State and Federal Law
• Oversee and manage the annual 5500 tax filings for all benefit plans. Ensure timely filing of extensions and submissions with the federal government.
• Complete ACA report, audit 1095 forms, mail to all employees
• Complete and submit annual sports salary survey data
• Complete and submit annual NFL diversity data
• Manage federally required EEO1 reporting and submission.
• Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides management direction and counseling.
Experience & Education
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or commensurate experience
• A minimum of seven years of human resources management experience is preferred.
• SPHR Credential – highly desired.
Work Environment
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
• Extended evening, weekend work hours are sometimes required. Required to work all home and some away games. May have to work occasional holidays.
• A stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines.
• Job duties require the employee to drive a personal vehicle.
