We are searching for the best talent for Inventory Control Assistant I to be in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Purpose:

Supports Inventory Control team including materials management activities, inventory control operations, and work order fulfillment. Ensure material availability, timely issuance and customer satisfaction. Conducts material record maintenance, replenishment, and inventory cycle count.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Keep track of inventories (raw materials) and ensure that materials are available when needed.
  • Organize stock inventory by location and maintain the integrity of the stockroom/warehouse inventory.
  • Assist with inventory movement between the West Palm Beach Warehouse and the Palm Beach Gardens Manufacturing site.
  • Pick components, kits, and subassemblies per work order pick lists.
  • Fulfill inventory demands from the Repair and Assembly Departments.
  • Operate VLM machines for loading and picking parts.
  • Use WMS Virtual Trays to load parts effectively.
  • Understand all new product lines and their individual storage configurations, including Velys parts and other product lines.
  • Perform SAP transactions appropriately and accurately to the operation.
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Keep the component stockroom and other building locations neat and orderly.
  • Follow all material management and distribution policies and standards.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the management team.
  • Ensure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Experience And Education*

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required plus 2 years related experience and/or training or combination of education and experience.  

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS*

  • Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Basic understanding of computer applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail in inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory items as needed.
  • SAP ERP System
  • WMS Software

Preferred:

Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards related to medical devices.
