Business Analyst

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Prepare presentation materials and speaking points to communicate business requirements, epics, user stories, use cases, and functional tests during online meetings.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements in collaboration with business owners and IT teams (remote setup).
• Conduct business modelling and process analysis; prepare process models.
• Draft final business requirements, epics, user stories, use cases, and functional tests for each release.
• Prepare Functional Specifications and data dictionaries.
• Propose UI/UX designs aligned with European User Interface guidelines and the Europa Web Guide.
• Perform analyses for low-code/no-code solutions and assess associated risks.
• Review stakeholder documentation and prepare implementation plans.
• Compile stakeholder functional test reports per release; log issues, discuss with business owners and IT, and facilitate requirement updates where needed.
• Report to the Project Manager on business analysis progress for current releases and overall requirements gathering.
• Contribute to release planning and prioritisation of development topics.
• Advise the Project Manager on validation of business analysis artefacts delivered by contractors.
• Cooperate with the internal IT Team Lead to define release scopes based on business requirements.
• Participate in release planning meetings to propose requirements for implementation.
• Propose and help validate functional testing plans and test cases.
• Maintain and update the business requirements Confluence page.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• A Bachelor’s degree and 17 years of experience in IT domain or Master's degree and 13 years of professional experience.
• 6+ years of specific expertise in analysis and modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.).
• 6+ years of experience with BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value.
• 3+ years of experience in software development methodologies (e.g. Agile).
• 3+ years of professional expertise in working with Confluence and Jira.
• 1+ years of experience in Registries type of systems.
• Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.
• Strong critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
• Proficiency in English language at C1 level.
