VVG is looking for a Parts Manager to join our team in Chandler, AZ for following hours: Monday-Friday between 7:00am-5:00pm!
What You’ll Do:
As the Parts Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the parts department — from purchasing and inventory control to team development and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with service and sales departments to ensure our parts operations run smoothly and support overall dealership success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure efficient inventory management to meet demand while minimizing overstock and obsolete parts.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to fulfill internal parts needs for repairs and sales.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers for timely, cost-effective parts procurement.
• Use data and inventory management tools to monitor usage, trends, and profitability.
• Drive team performance through coaching, training, and regular performance evaluations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant department that meets safety and operational standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries and ensuring parts accuracy and availability.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in parts management within the heavy-duty truck or automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of truck parts, components, and applications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on management style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Customer-first approach with a track record of building lasting relationships.
You’ll Work With:
• Reports to: Regional Parts Operations Manager
• Partners with: Service Managers, HR, and other corporate departments
• Leads: Parts Department staff
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
• Primarily office and warehouse environment
• Includes time at the front counter interacting with customers
• Medium work: ability to lift and move parts as needed
Compensation:
• $80,000-$90,000 annual salary
• Bonus Incentive Plan
• Full Time position
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and background check
