Product Owner (m/f/d) Tracing & Live Position - Global Inland Center

Hapag-Lloyd is pioneering new technology to provide industry-leading transport visibility to our customers. Our container fleet fully equipped with IoT tracking devices enables us to complemented traditional event based visibility – which would inform you whenever a container enters or leaves a facility along the way – with a near real-time view on container location and status.

In this role, you take ownership of our existing Tracing and Live Position Product, shaping the further development roadmap and driving agile delivery in partnership with the IT Product Manager as your direct counterpart in IT. You evaluate and prioritize new features in our Web&Mobile, API and other distribution channels in alignment with our customers and internal stakeholders, accompany market launch and track adoption and success.

• Driving Tracing & Live Position development including innovation workshops to identify and challenge product ideas for transport visibility with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Defining and prioritizing development backlog on feature level in JIRA in alignment with Tracing and Web&Mobile product managers
• Driving (scaled) agile product delivery in quarterly heartbeats and 2-3 week sprints together with IT PM 
• Managing dependencies with other IT products like Booking, TMS, Equipment or Customer Notification Center
• Roll-out and marketing for new features, as well as tracking of adoption and collection of customer feedback
• Facilitating stakeholder updates and interviews and incorporating feedback into product roadmap
• University degree in business studies, engineering, service management, or similar degrees
• First professional experience within different functional areas of supply chain 
• Experience as IT product owner, ideally following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and familiar with JIRA and Confluence
• Strong analytics capabilities, competent in working with large data sets and familiar with data analytic tools such as QlikView and Alteryx
• Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
• Fluent English
