Senior Manager of Facilities and Construction

The Senior Manager of Facilities and Construction will oversee day-to-day facilities-related matters in New York, with specific responsibility for ensuring compliance with all New York City building regulations, Certificates of Occupancy, and fire code requirements. The Senior Manager will also serve as the firm's lead in construction and relocation initiatives. This individual will act as the primary construction management lead for office buildouts, renovations, and relocation projects, working closely with the Director of Real Estate Operations to manage and oversee the work of general contractors, architects, engineers, and move consultants. 

• Coordinate office construction, renovation, and relocation projects across the firm.
• Direct and coordinate the work of general contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Review and monitor construction schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure compliance with firm requirements.
• Provide leadership updates, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage all day-to-day facilities matters at 11XS, including seating assignments and move/add/delete processes.
• Act as the primary liaison with 11XS building management.
• Coordinate with Office Administrators and facilities leads outside of New York to assure facilities standards are applied throughout all offices.
• Develop and implement maintenance standards for facilities operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Manage the renewal and compliance of all Certificates of Occupancy and fire code requirements in the New York office.
• Work directly with legal directors and chiefs to manage space accommodations and workplace requirements for lawyers and staff.
• Work with local Office Administrators to identify critical facilities-related equipment upkeep and replacement requirements.
• Recommend and implement process improvements and efficiencies in facilities operations.
• Review and develop department/firm facilities policy.
• Must have at least 10-15 years of facilities and construction management experience. 
• Experience in a large law firm or corporate environment preferred.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing construction, renovation, and relocation projects.
• Strong organizational, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and after-hours, as well as travel to other offices when required.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (5x per week). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $165,000-$190,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
