Position Overview

The AI Engineer Intern – ML & Insights will contribute to applied machine learning projects, focusing on predictive modeling, data analysis, and algorithm development to generate insights that support business decisions.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop and evaluate machine learning models for structured and unstructured data.
• Perform data wrangling, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Contribute to model evaluation, visualization, and documentation of results.
• Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to real-world datasets.
• Display effective collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional team settings.
• Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
• Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD candidate in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, and Databricks.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Exposure to distributed computing or big data frameworks (Spark).

Salary Range:

$35,000.00 - $56,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
