Starting pay is $60,000 per year based on experience.

Job Summary:

This position will support all aspects of Human Resources such as recruiting, training, employee relations, and compliance. Partners with assigned business groups for recruitment and training efforts which includes the sourcing of qualified candidates, arrangement of interviews with department managers and facilitation of bi-weekly new hire classes. Hosts job fairs as needed. Assists with the hosting of property events and will, at times, be called on to conduct employee investigations. Will provide both technical and administrative support to the department.

Essential Job Functions:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Post job openings, screen applicants and coordinate interviews with hiring managers for assigned departments.
  • Assist in preparing job descriptions and offer letters
  • Facilitate pre-employment paperwork, background checks
  • Participate in NHO and ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new hires

Employee Records & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files (both digital and physical)
  • Update HRIS systems with personnel changes, promotions, transfer and separations
  • Prepare routine reports as requested by leadership

Employee Relations Support

  • Be first point of contact for employee questions or concerns
  • Escalate complex issues to HR leadership
  • Support investigations by gathering statements, conducting interviews and/or gathering supporting documentation.
  • Promote a positive & inclusive workplace culture

Policy Administration & Compliance

  • Communicate and enforce HR policies, procedures and labor law requirements
  • Monitor attendance tracking for assigned departments, leave requests and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Assist with audits, I9 Verifications and other compliance tasks

Performance & Development Administration

  • Track training participation for assigned departments and maintain record of certifications or required courses.
  • Assist managers in documenting performance discussion and documentation

Compliance & Benefits Processing

  • Answer team member questions about pay, benefits or deductions
  • Process status changes and salary adjustments based on HR SOP
  • Support annual benefits enrollment and performance review activities

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Share company announcements and updates with assigned departments
  • Help plan and participate in engagement events and/or recognition programs
  • Collect employee feedback (walk-in statements and exit interviews) and relay themes or concerns to HR leadership.

Separation & Offboarding

  • Assist leaders with separation conversations and paperwork and coordinate exit interviews
  • Recover company property, disable bus pass access, and update HR systems and ensure Term email sent by department
  • Provide final pay, benefits continuation, uniform return and 90-day cooling off information. 

Performs other duties as assigned.

General Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year in Human Resources or recruitment/external search experience.
  • Previous external recruitment experience (e.g., job fairs, college and community relations and placement).
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent technical skills (proficiency in Word, Excel, Windows) required.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent ability in handling multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time.
  • Must work well in stressful situations while performing multiple, concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
  • Must be able to handle highly detail-oriented tasks with ease.
  • Must have the ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels both within and outside the organization.
  • Must be highly motivated, have good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
  • Must exhibit personal accountability and the accountability for others, the timeliness of their work, and adherence to company policies and procedures

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must present a well groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.
  • Must be able to recognize and respond to individuals with questions.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to maneuver around property to pick up and deliver an assortment of paperwork.
