This open position is for Armanino India LLP. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust software solutions using Python to automate accounting processes such as reconciliations, journal entries, vendor onboarding, and reporting.
• Lead technical initiatives that directly support the accounting team’s operational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including accounting, finance, and human resources—to define, design, and deliver automation features.
• Ensure code quality and reliability through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Optimize performance and scalability of systems handling financial data.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in accounting automation and financial systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python with a strong track record of building backend systems.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
• Experience with Django or similar frameworks.
• Background in accounting systems, financial automation, or data engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to tools like Sage Intacct, Ramp, or Bill.com.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
