About The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position of the Assistant Accountant Leasing will be responsible to performing Leasing checks for correct treatment of leases between Financial and Operating Leases.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Processing financial transactions, including lease receivables, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile FLNZ balance sheet accounts reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Responsible for management and processing of FLNZ and FBNZ Fixed Asset registers.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
Skills And Experience
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience preferably involving finance contracts
- Finance Leasing Contract Knowledge
- Tertiary qualification or 3 – 5 years of relevant experience required
- Excellent skills in analysing and communicating financial information
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A strong team player who can work autonomously
- Experience within the print industry is desirable.
