We are seeking an experienced Engineering ICT Category Team Leader to manage a national team of ICT engineers, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to deliver engineering project milestones. You will work closely with Fleet Engineering Managers, report to the General Manager TLS Engineering, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages and exercises technical control over groups of engineers and staff engaged in complex engineering work (e.g. systems engineering, manufacturing liaison, configuration control, systems assurance, materials compliance, engineering change).
• Initiates or participates in both short-term and long-term planning for engineering operations.
• Makes independent decisions on engineering policies and procedures within a broader program framework.
• Provides technical advice to management and operating departments.
• Co-ordinates work programs and directs or advises on the use of equipment and materials.
• Makes responsible decisions typically not subject to technical review and determines actions needed to successfully complete assigned projects.
• May make recommendations with significant financial or long-term impacts.
• Receives duties based on broad objectives and is reviewed for policy alignment, approach, accomplishment, and effectiveness.
• Reviews and evaluates technical work, selects and schedules tasks, and co-ordinates to meet program objectives.
