Job Purpose
The Senior IAM Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise authentication and identity systems. The role ensures secure access, deployment of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, and compliance with security frameworks, while overseeing complex IAM projects from planning through execution.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise authentication systems, including directory services, cloud-based identity providers, and single sign-on solutions.
- Implement and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems to enforce secure access and session controls for privileged accounts.
- Develop, enforce, and maintain authentication policies and standards within sensitive environments to ensure strong security.
- Lead IAM projects across all phases, from initial planning and scoping to execution, integration, and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to provide secure and compliant access experiences.
- Ensure all identity and access management solutions comply with industry security standards and frameworks such as PCI-DSS and Zero Trust principles.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for core identity services, including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, and Single Sign-On.
- Maintain system availability and resolve complex IAM issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive systems engineering experience focused on authentication, security, and identity management.
- Hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, Kerberos, and Single Sign-On technologies.
- Proven experience implementing and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS.
- Knowledge and practical application of Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
