Business Growth

  • Ensure product development, introduction of new variants and implementation of internal and external marketing campaigns within the defined operating jurisdiction, ensure support in terms of back-end operations, localized processing, systems, etc., assisting distribution in achieving the required business growth.

Efficiency

  • To continuously monitor the overall business delivery cycle and ensure that the processes are designed and upgraded to meet higher level of efficiencies staying within the overall internal and external regulatory environment.  To strengthen overall delivery by ensuring smooth functioning between all support functions as per the internal guidelines/policy framework/SOPs and creating synergies.

P&L & Financial Management:

  • To develop and monitor business plans and annual budgets in coordination with support functions with a keen focus on cost efficiencies and minimizing bad debts employing a proactive approach.
  • Own the P&L for the credit card portfolio, with direct accountability for revenue, net interest income, operating expenses, and profitability.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Optimize revenue streams, including interest income, interchange fees, and annual fees.

Portfolio Management & Customer Engagement:

  • Implement strategies to deepen customer relationships, increase card usage, and reduce attrition.
  • Develop and manage customer lifecycle marketing programs (onboarding, activation, retention, win-back).
  • Utilize data analytics to segment the portfolio and tailor strategies for different customer cohorts.

Team Management/Leadership

  • To ensure that all units under direct supervision are adequately staffed and all members are motivated and aligned with the organizational objectives. Individual goal-setting, performance appraisals are to be carried out along with formal/informal feedback in order to ensure maximum productivity.  To development, dispense, facilitate training to sales/distribution in order to ensure that the front-end staff are equipped with necessary updates/information regarding the product, policy, regulations and or promotions

Business Partners

  • To develop cordial relationship with all business partners in order to ensure value added product features and services as well as high level of efficiency in provisioning of routine services to the customers in line with the service level agreements resulting in mutual benefit and a satisfied customer base

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post-Graduation

Minimum Experience:

  • 12 years

Additional Skills / Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Prudential Regulations
  • Knowledge of basic association rules
  • Knowledge of KYC “Know-Your-Customer”
  • Requires keeping abreast of local and international market dynamics 
  • Has an important role in the definition of overall strategy
