As an Senior Associate Data Scientist within our Consumer Community Banking ( CCB) Affluent Data & Analytics team, you will support sales and service channel initiatives within the CCB Affluent segment. You will partner with Affluent Strategy, Sales, and Program teams to solve key business problems utilizing data-driven approaches. Your role will include driving analyses for sales journeys, Expansion Pilots, as well as Banker / Affluent Channel productivity and optimization. You will partner directly with our internal clients to develop, implement, and track strategic initiatives from a data & analytics perspective while owning the end to end analytics journey to produce insights. This role requires strong analytical and technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with business partners to set quantifiable goals, advise on strategies, and support analytical test designs.
- Support JPM Private Client growth workstreams acting as subject matter expert and driving analytics efforts.
- Lead execution of KPIs, trend analysis, and dashboards to understand opportunities and optimize business performance.
- Communicating and interfacing with stakeholders, leveraging a blend of analytical skills and business acumen to produce impactful results.
- Partner with stakeholders to solve quantitative problems, related to optimizing business performance, using various analytic methods.
- End to End project ownership encompassing tasks such as gathering detailed requirements, data preparation, result generation, and data visualization.
- Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and security, aligning with both internal and external regulatory requirements and compliance protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends as well as test new tools and techniques to address business challenges.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:
- Masters in a related field, or Bachelors with 3+ years of experience in a related discipline (Computer Science, Operational Research, Physics, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Other Sciences etc.) or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in mix of programming languages and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and/or Alteryx to answer business questions.
- Experience defining business KPIs and establishing measurement frameworks.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines. Must be detail oriented, organized, and perform at high standards.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Statistical methods and concepts, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, and/or text mining
- Experience in Cloud and Big Data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Apache Spark, etc.
- Strong story telling skills including communicating complex data science concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
