As a Team Lead Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Engineering team. Owning and acting as the main point of reference for the evolution of our Data Engineering systems, ensuring they align with Papernest's overall infrastructure. you will also define business needs by acting as the primary point of contact for the SalesOps & Telephony teams, in collaboration with the Product team.
Your Responsibilities :
- Mobilizing team resources and overseeing project management for your specific SalesOps & Telephony division.
- Participating in the development of the quarterly roadmap based on the SalesOps & Telephony teams needs
- Performing daily reporting on the quality of all Papernest customer and internal data flow
- Maintaining and evolving the stack, which is based on Python/Airflow/Docker and hosted on AWS and BigQuery.
- Ensuring the technical and functional development of our Data Engineering tools (ELT, Data Lineage, etc.) and our CI/CD pipeline.
- Sharing knowledge about the needs and implemented solutions with audiences both inside and outside the Data Engineer team, particularly for business user
Your Profile :
- Background in computer science
- 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a Python (OOP) stack
- You have been involved in gathering and defining requirements from internal stakeholders
- You have demonstrable experience with projects in a production environment
- You have experience with agile project management and project leadership
- You find your greatest satisfaction in helping your colleagues grow and develop
- You have strong SQL knowledge for Data Warehousing (BigQuery is a plus)
- Previous experience as a Data Analyst is a plus.
- Business Level English and ideally Spanish or French

- You have great communication skills, knowing that the best way to meet user needs (both internal and external) is to actively seek out information.
- You enjoy sharing your findings and discussing best practices with the team.
