We are seeking an experienced leader to guide technical delivery, strengthen team capability, and drive client outcomes as Technical Director within our Suva office. 

This position offers a unique blend of technical leadership, mentoring and client engagement within a globally connected and well-established consultancy.

In This Role, You’Ll:

• Lead the way in delivering innovative, high-quality projects for both government and private clients, making a visible difference in your home community.
• Oversee project delivery as Project Manager or Project Director where required, ensuring timelines, quality benchmarks, and commercial targets are met
• Contribute to ensuring an inclusive and collaborative team environment, mentoring others and supporting the growth of local talent.
• Drive business development with the Country Manager, expanding opportunities in structural and civil engineering sectors.
• Support the NZPac Business Group Leader in advancing the Structures business plan and contributing to broader sector goals.
• Connect with industry leaders across Australia and New Zealand, sharing expertise and resources for regional success.

About You:

• A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
• Significant experience across a range of projects in relevant specialisation with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex or large-scale projects with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and commercial performance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and identify future opportunities.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams in a collaborative and supportive environment
• Knowledge of the local market for consulting services, demonstrated commercial acumen and solid work winning skills.
