About the Team:
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a crucial role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed worldwide, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time. The US Agency team works with each of the Holding Companies and Independent Agencies across all categories. They are responsible for enabling advertising on the platform and connecting users with brands.
About the Role:
The Agency Sales Team Lead (Independent Agencies) will be responsible for developing a strategy and driving revenue for a team of individual contributors. They will report to the Director, US Agency, and serve as the advocate for their agencies both internally and externally. They will grow and develop Agency Partnerships Managers to become strategic advisors to their clients.
Success in this role requires a focus on people management, project and relationship management, client education, campaign measurement, and the ability to tell a strong story that shows TikTok's ability to drive client objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Craft an overall strategy to deliver on revenue targets and steer the team to increased growth potential
- Prioritize sales narratives based on the needs of the agencies
- Deep understanding of products to drive enhancements to unlock revenue
- Bring a consultative approach that will align with a customer-first methodology
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to your team on overall account planning
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key vertical market trends and customer opportunities
- Develop, mentor, and manage a team of individual contributors
