Commercial Insights Analyst

As the Commercial Insights Analyst, you will provide high quality analyses and action-focused insights to identify opportunities and support Hotel Performance Analytics and Regional Commercial teams in delivery of IHG’s commercial priorities. The Commercial Insights Analyst plays a key role in supporting revenue growth for hotels, brands, and the IHG AMER region. You will work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.   

Your Day to Day 

• Build and manage analyses, models, dashboards, and tools that provide insights and lead to driving hotel, brand, and regional performance  
• Support the development of presentations to management inside or outside the department in order to report findings, interpret the data analysis, and make recommendations based on results.  
• Analyze results of various testing initiatives in frequency and non-frequency applications. 
• Support and interact in regular meetings with immediate team, stakeholders and regional leadership, including presenting findings from analyses 
• Make recommendations for enhancements to relevant databases from an information needs perspective including internal and external data sources 

What We Need from You 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work in business, economics, or statistics, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. 
• 1 to 3+ years progressive work experience, with emphasis on business analysis. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated expertise in the relevant business areas supported. 
• Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint for the purpose of translating technical data and statistical information into actionable business insights for stakeholders, senior leadership, and staff. 
• Excellent, project management, and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with strong attention to detail 
• The ideal candidate will have an excellent base of analytical/technical skills and ambition to grow within the organization  
• SQL proficiency is a plus 

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.  

The salary range for this role is $ 46,226 to $ 85,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
