As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the core SaaS platform—driving key technical decisions, mentoring developers, and ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across systems. You will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to build high-impact, customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Ownership: Lead development and technical direction for the core SaaS platform built on Python, MySQL, Celery, OpenSearch, Redis, and a React-based frontend.
• Architecture & Design: Make critical architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, reliability, and high performance.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide developers; implement engineering best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Oversee infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, GPU servers for ML inference, Redis/Valkey, and S3/CDN.
• Collaboration: Work with product, design, and business teams to deliver impactful features that align with customer needs and company goals.
• Security & Compliance: Maintain platform security, ensure data protection, and enforce best practices for system reliability.
• Strategic Growth: Contribute to the technical roadmap and prepare to evolve into a technology leadership role as the company scales.

What We’Re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably building and scaling SaaS platforms.
• Strong expertise in Python, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven experience with databases, caching, search systems, and queues at scale.
• Proficiency with AWS services, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: Exposure to machine learning workflows, GPU inference, or digital asset/media processing.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, passionate about scaling technology and teams in a startup environment.
