Key Responsibilities

Application Development:

Design, code, and maintain robust, high-volume, and scalable Java-based applications and server-side components. 

API Development:

Develop and manage RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between the front-end and server-side. 

Database Management:

Integrate and manage data storage solutions like SQL and NoSQL databases. 

Performance Optimization:

Identify bottlenecks and bugs in applications and devise solutions to enhance performance and responsiveness. 

Collaboration:

Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other teams to define requirements and integrate features. 

Testing & Debugging:

Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging to ensure application quality. 

Documentation:

Create detailed design documentation and help users understand application functionality. 

Code Quality:

Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code, participating in code reviews to maintain high standards. 

Integration:

Integrate with third-party APIs, web services, and other backend systems. 

Essential Skills

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies like Java EE. 
• Frameworks: Expertise with popular Java frameworks, such as Spring and Spring Boot. 
• Databases: Solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB). 
• APIs: Experience in designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs. 
• Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven. 
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including services like EC2, S3, and Lambda. 
• SDLC & Agile: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. 
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills. 
• Soft Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration in cross-functional teams.
