Job Summary

This position is responsible for executing TriNet's pricing strategy and working with business partners to foster a proactive, continuous improvement process to ensure pricing updates are executed timely and accurately. The position is also responsible for tools, systems, and metrics that drive ongoing performance, reinforce the execution of pricing strategy and support overall corporate goals. Strict adherence to SOX controls and compliance is critical for success in this role.

Essential Duties/Responsibilites

  • Manage pricing models of assigned product line to ensure retail rates are updated accurately and timely        
  • Maintain SOX compliant processes and documentation
  • Effectively collaborate with business partners to set objectives and timelines for executing pricing updates and to remediate processes that cause update errors
  • Ensure level of service requirements are met         
  • Perform analytics and report on performance        
  • Support complex pricing and profitability models using large data sets and assumptions     
  • Present pricing updates and validation outcomes to senior management in a clear, concise, and actionable format  
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of pertinent information     
  • Strong and effective leadership across teams through collaboration, communication, problem solving, innovation, strategy, execution and results
  • Work effectively with others to meet goals and objectives by developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external partners 
  • Drive improvement, simplification and automation across the team by building scalable work processes and eliminating inefficiencies     
  • Translate ideas and concepts into practical applications and generate new ideas that add value
  • Drive team engagement and accountability            
  • Set goals and evaluate performance of direct reports       
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree and equivalent experience - required 

Work Experience

  • Typically 5+ years - required 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Support continuous improvement processes, analyzing problems and recommending actions for effective resolution        
  • Demonstrated ability to identify financial risks and gaps that can impact SOX compliance    
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities          
  • Strong MS Office Skills including Visio         
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills             
  • Excellent collaboration, team work and interpersonal skills              
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills           
  • Process and detail oriented 
  • Must be able to prioritize daily tasks and meet critical deadlines
