NSF is seeking for Director Water APAC in Korea. The role serves as the lead for the Water Program in the APAC Region, which includes developing a long-term strategy for expanding the business in the area. Responsibilities include retention, expansion, and gaining new clients; customer management; managing P&L responsibilities across all countries in the APAC region (including revenue and margin goals); managing local regional resources; actively liaising with global water colleagues; and collaborating with other division’s regional colleagues to achieve Asia Pacific strategic annual operating plans and goals.
The role will also contribute to bringing global best practices into the region, engaging in competitive benchmarking, shaping people strategy, and identifying new opportunities to expand NSF International’s Water business in APAC by implementing agreed plans and coordinating activities with other leaders across NSF.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Water business strategy and P&L for APAC region.
- Identify growth opportunities.
- Develop & manage client relationships.
- Establishes and maintains critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders including customers, employees, communities, governments, outside vendors and partners, and others as required to achieve global strategies and objectives.
- Meet KPI objectives.
- Serve as industry expert in Water Division (if possible)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science-based discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience leading a regional program or operation in Asia Pacific
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships, understand customer needs and deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with the mission and goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, including selecting and developing talent, building trust, coaching team members, and managing performance resulting in high performing team members.
- Proven record of having delivered Water business growth and P&L
- Experience with presentation development and public speaking
- Well Experienced in Water industry
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of regulatory framework around Water systems in Asia Pacific Countries will be preferable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business
- Ability to perform predictive analysis
- Comfortable with public speaking
