Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s retail business goals.
- Forecast demand, plan procurement, and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, lead times, and cost objectives.
- Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery to retail outlets.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce lead time and improve service levels.
- Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor inventory levels across retail locations and warehouses.
- Implement effective stock management practices to avoid overstocking and stockouts.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the supply chain team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to align supply with demand.
- Process Improvement & Reporting
- Continuously review and improve supply chain processes.
- Track key KPIs (cost, delivery time, stock turnover, wastage) and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Minimum 5–7 years of supply chain experience in retail or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/supply chain management systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced retail environment.
