QA Analyst - SAP Commissions

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Analyst with experience in SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud) to join our delivery team. The QA Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of SAP Commissions implementations by executing end-to-end testing of compensation rules, workflows, and reporting solutions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Design, document, and execute test cases for SAP Commissions, workflows, rules, and reporting.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to validate business requirements and technical solutions.
• Conduct data validation and reconciliation testing to ensure accuracy in crediting, quota attainment, and payout calculations.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements and identify potential defects early in the process.
• Prepare and manage test data sets representative of real-world compensation scenarios.
• Track, report, and follow up on defects using test management and defect tracking tools.
• Support clients during UAT cycles, ensuring issues are logged, prioritized, and resolved.
• Contribute to QA documentation, including test plans, execution logs, and traceability matrices.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements within QA activities.

Desired Skills and Experience

SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud) Implementation & Configuration:

• End-to-end implementation and optimization of SAP Commissions, including:
• Compensation Plan Design: Configure complex sales compensation plans, including tiered incentives, bonuses, draws, and accelerators.
• Rules and Formula Configuration: Implement business rules for quota setting, credit assignment, and payout calculations.
• Participant Management: Define roles, hierarchies, and organizational structures to enable accurate tracking of sales performance and payouts.
• Data Processing and Integration: Load and process transactional data using SAP Commissions Pipeline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve calculation issues and data discrepancies, ensuring payout accuracy and audit compliance.
• Compensation Plan Design: Configure complex sales compensation plans, including tiered incentives, bonuses, draws, and accelerators.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 1–2 years focused on SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud).
• Solid understanding of Sales Performance Management (SPM) processes.
• Hands-on experience with test case creation, execution, and defect management.
• Strong SQL and data validation skills to test complex incentive logic and large datasets.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data or process inconsistencies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

 Knowledge of the following technologies is considered an asset: 

• SAP HANA Studio/Web IDE
• SAP Workflow, Crystal Reports, Embedded Analytics.
• Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, Xactly, Varicent 
• Web technologies such as JavaScript, XML, CSS, and HTML 
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and related ecosystems.
• Certifications in SAP Commissions, SAP Analytics, or related modules.
