Experiment Planner/Analyst – 25-028 – Norfolk, Virginia
As a growing Department of Defense Contractor, AUSGAR Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an Experiment Planner/Analyst to join our team of smart and innovative technical team members. Serve as an analyst to a Norfolk, VA area command and its missions, functions and tasks through contracted positions serving the function of the Experiment Planner/Analyst support SME. Support the facilitation of research, planning, directing and analysis for Fleet Focused Experimentation (FLEX) initiatives and events. Leverage leadership, experience and background to collaborate with fleet representatives and science and technology development agencies addressing Navy warfighting capabilities and improvements across the range of naval operations and missions. Ensure the technical requirements for the experiment are identified and establish a collaborative working relationship with the government sponsors to design, plan, execute and control, perform data collection and analysis and prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Lead, plan and coordinate the activities of supporting planners and analysts as required based on assigned study or project comprised of a diverse team of military, civilian and contractor personnel.
- Develop and coordinate Baseline Assessments (BA), Control Plans (EXPLAN), Data Collection and Analysis Plans (DCAP), and Information/Knowledge Management Plans (IM/KM). Work closely with the military and government civilian leads.
- Support in coordination of any associated Spectrum, Accreditation and Install/De-installation requirements with Engineering Team leads needed to support initiative testing, as required.
- Conduct technical exchange meetings with the experiment participants and update PM Leads and planning documents, as required.
- Serve as the analyst for project teams within the department.
- Provide decision makers with quantitative or qualitative basis for making decisions on the particular military solution under investigation.
- Support of FLAG/SES (Senior Executive Service)-level review on experiment results, findings and corresponding recommendations.

- Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study from an accredited college or university.
- 8+ years of experience as a U.S. Navy officer.
- Ability to travel (approximately 10%).
- Experience supporting numbered fleet or major staff or a Warfighting Development Center.
- Knowledge of Naval tactical mission areas or operational planning, including fleet exercises.
- Knowledge of emerging Naval operating concepts and capabilities.
- Ability to embark Navy ships and submarines.
