Qualifications & Experience

  • Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field from a reputable university, preferably AACSB-accredited.
  • Knowledge and teaching experience in Hospitality Management is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of two years’ teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels in an internationally reputable, preferably AACSB-accredited, university.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development.
  • Strong record of research and peer-reviewed publications in top-tier business/management journals (e.g., SCOPUS, ABDC, ABS) with a commitment to impactful scholarship.
  • Evidence of collaborative and interdisciplinary research is an advantage.
  • Experience supervising student projects, dissertations, and theses.
  • Strong record of professional and community service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing and Hospitality Management.
  • Employ innovative, technology-enabled approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Provide academic advising to students.
  • Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Seek external research funding and contribute to collaborative research projects.
  • Supervise student research projects, theses, and internships.
  • Lead or contribute to curriculum design, program development, and accreditation/quality-assurance processes.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university committees and other institutional service activities.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders, including consultancy and other industry-facing services.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching and research.
  • Enhance Ajman University’s visibility and reputation through outreach and external engagement.
  • Perform additional academic and professional duties as assigned.
