Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience managing people or teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JD, MBA, or Master’s degree.
  • 3 years of experience managing people or teams.
  • Experience escalating and presenting key issues and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, structure agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with legal teams to sign and manage agreements.
  • Ability to grow in a changing, collaborative, and ambiguous start-up like environments where thoughtfulness, an entrepreneurial mindset, persistent execution, and relationships drive success.
  • Ability to grasp technical and product concepts.

The Media Sales Lead role is a unique opportunity to be a key, high-visibility leader in an ever evolving business at Google. You will be entrepreneurial, technically savvy, detail oriented, collaborative, and have a keen focus on business efficiency and scalability. You will be responsible for leading a high-growth team, working across a portfolio of customers requiring collaboration with global business partners both internally and externally. Your background in sales strategy and programmatic media combined with your communication skills and investigative ability will enable you to help guide your team to create and deliver joint business plans that empower our customers’ growth.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Understand, build, and manage relationships with key executive decision makers and budget holders across agency buyer landscape, at executive and operational levels.
  • Drive immediate and sustained business growth by personally identifying and closing high-value deals with key agency and brand partners, setting the standard for team performance.
  • Own and accountable for achieving a significant portion of the team's annual business goals, leveraging deep agency relationships to unlock new budget allocation and guarantee pipeline conversion.
  • Lead a high-performing Agency sales team that uses consultative media sales skills to understand customer’ needs and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Own and enforce accountability for sales team activity, progress, and pipeline hygiene by conducting regular one-on-one reviews, analyzing key metrics, and ensuring accurate forecasting.
