Senior UX Designer, Google Cloud Business Platforms

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
• Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
• Experience with data visualization.
• Ability to lead and ideate products and improve features within a user-centered design process.
• Ability to influence product design strategy along with excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (Android and iOS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide solutions.
• Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
• Partner with engineering to guide the implementation process, ensuring execution, adherence to design specifications, and Google’s product excellence principles.
• Help define and drive the product direction, developing a UX direction and challenging the status quo with user-centric perspectives.
