About The Job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a part of the Compliance, Safety and Risk Management (CSRM) team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program for our new Data Centers in Austria. This includes but is not limited to: EHS management system, environmental, health and safety compliance programs, and site oversight. You will be responsible to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Google Data Center departments and contractors to identify and address EHS concerns, risk identification and mitigation.
In this role, you will ensure the safety of the operations workforce, protection of the environment and Google’s business. Furthermore, you will provide guidance with the implementation of new and critical EHS initiatives and will contribute to the continuous improvement and iteration of our EHS programs. You will develop risk assessments and documentation, conduct training and communicate with workers in German.
