Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience managing technical projects in the cloud or silicon development industries.
  • 10 years of experience leading teams within technical program management or engineering management or equivalent roles.
  • Experience with the domain areas of NPI launch, Hardware Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Material Management, and Technical Operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise programs and cloud technologies.
  • Deep technical expertise in systems and software, with excellent leadership skills to influence technical leaders across the company.

As part of the Product Operation organization under Google AI2 (AI & Infrastructure) organization, you will utilize your leadership skills and your significant talents for program management, mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale, and data-driven decision making, to launch and take to market solutions that accelerate our customers' success. You will inspire our teams and rapidly establish trust among a diverse set of stakeholders and customers.

As the Director of Product Operations, you will help us deliver time sensitive, complex NPI products to deployment in support of our growing AI needs. You will set the vision and direction, improve productivity and quality standards, resolve systemic problems across engineering organizations, identify trends, and implement change.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage development and delivery of Cloud AI programs and solutions, and provide both technical and organizational leadership.
  • Be responsible for leading planning, execution, and delivery of internal and external programs and initiatives. Strategically partner with senior leadership, engineering and product managers to ensure alignment with engineering and product priorities.
  • Forecast program management resourcing requirements while driving sublinear scaling at a rapid pace. Lead and inspire an organization of Technical Program Managers drawn from several parts of the business, with a goal of driving predictable outcomes for our customers and business.
  • Build a healthy, scalable and growth-oriented Technical Program Management organization across multiple locations.
  • Lead groups to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage OKRs, release on time, bring tooling efficiencies and help teams in execution.
