- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
- Experience in C++, large-scale distributed systems, Technical Infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience working in a structured organization.
- Experience with large-scale system design.

Responsibilities
- Ensure roadmaps and efforts are aligned with the broader Android/Google goals while also addressing the critical needs of our external partners (OEMs, Carriers, etc.).
- Provide executive technical guidance, make key architectural decisions, and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Mentor and develop engineers and managers on the team.
- Define and own the long-term technical goals and roadmap for Android Partner Engineering (APE) systems and services.
