DNV is seeking a detail-oriented Pipeline Integrity Engineer to work in our Integrity Solutions and Compliance department.
The Integrity Solutions and Compliance Department is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and services to the pipeline industry. We work together with pipeline operators to manage and maintain their assets, providing technical expertise to navigate the evolving landscape of the energy transition. This role is based at our DNV office in Dublin, OH. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.
What You’Ll Do
- Collaborate professionally with a team of Engineers, Consultants, ILI Analysts, and clients.
- Conduct data analysis from pipeline operators employing suitable methodologies.
- Manage projects and tasks.
- Document findings and deliver clear technical results.
- Write technical reports, papers, and present projects, as requested.
- Attend industry conferences to learn about new technologies, identify opportunities for projects, and develop industry contacts.
- Respond to requests for proposals by developing a scope of work, schedule, budget, etc.
- Participate in business development with existing projects and clients to build and maintain relationships.

What Is Required
- Bachelor's of Science Degree or higher in Engineering.
- Ability to understand and address client needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong technical writing, problem-solving, critical thinking, and quick learning abilities.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, hardworking, and professional mindset.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Manage fast-paced, high-demand environments.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
What Is Preferred:
- Bachelor's of Science Degree or higher in Material Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience working with clients/customers.
- Programming/process automation experience.
- 2D/3D CAD experience (AutoCAD, Solidworks).
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or boundary element analysis (BEA).
