About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Customs Manager to join our team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will oversee all customs-related activities, ensure full compliance with national and international regulations, and support the seamless flow of goods across borders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the customs team, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
- Manage budgets and be responsible for the P&L in close cooperation with the Regional Head of Customs.
- Ensure full compliance with customs legislation, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies.
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with key account customers.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and implement best practices to stay ahead.
- Continuously optimize customs processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on all customs-related matters.
Requirements
- Proven track record in customs management or a comparable leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of Swedish and EU customs regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide teams.
- Commercially driven, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
