About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Customs Manager to join our team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will oversee all customs-related activities, ensure full compliance with national and international regulations, and support the seamless flow of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the customs team, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
• Manage budgets and be responsible for the P&L in close cooperation with the Regional Head of Customs.
• Ensure full compliance with customs legislation, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships with key account customers.
• Monitor changes in trade regulations and implement best practices to stay ahead.
• Continuously optimize customs processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on all customs-related matters.

Requirements

• Proven track record in customs management or a comparable leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of Swedish and EU customs regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide teams.
• Commercially driven, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
