Senior Sales Representative – MRO & Propulsion Systems
- Territory: California
- Travel: Between 50-75%
Compensation: base salary of $125,000 per year plus a commission plan that rewards sales performance. Total compensation potential is up to $225,000 annually, based on achieved sales results. To support success during ramp-up, the company provides a $3,000 monthly safety net for the first six months (forgivable draw) to help bridge earnings while building your sales pipeline.

About The Role
In This Position, You Will:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in California’s marine MRO sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with shipyards, fleet operators, and industrial clients.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
- Promote MRO services, parts, and solutions, with potential for new engine sales.
- Cultivate long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Stay informed on MRO products, market trends, and customer needs within the marine industry.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop and deliver customized client solutions.
- Monitor competitors and market shifts to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent Pacific Power Group at trade shows, industry events, and key customer meetings.
- Mentor junior sales representatives and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of sales experience in MRO, preferably within the marine industry.
- Deep knowledge of the California marine MRO market, including key players and regulations.
- A strong network of industry contacts, including shipyards, fleet operators, and maritime service providers.
- A track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with marine propulsion systems, power solutions, and MRO services.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop tailored client solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to travel within California (up to 75%) for client meetings and industry events.
