Job Description

Lead, direct, and control Process Engineering for Injectable formulation Plant & Automation, instrumentation.

Project Engineering & project execution activities to develop manufacturing and production processes that are reliable, cost-effective, and support the project / business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of complete Life Cycle of Process and Control Systems
• Equipped with knowledge on the Smart manufacturing & Industry 4.0 automation requirements
• Specify, design, installation, Commissioning, validation and maintenance of Process Equipment’s machines and Control Systems for large Pharmaceutical (Injectable Formulation) industry.
• Understanding & designing capabilities for Critical Machines like Washer / Tunnel/ Filler / Capper and Sterilizers.
• Understanding & Designing Manufacturing system like tanks, CIP & SIPs system etc.
• Project management and Project Engineering
• Exposure to cGMP and validation requirements like VMP, DQ, IQ, OQ , PQ, etc
• Change Management in Regulatory environment.
• Hazop study
• Risk analysis and management
• Knowledge of typical pharma processes
• Analytical skills for complex problem solving 
• Technical evaluation of vendors as well as quotations.
• Cost and spend control
• Conduct cost and time estimation
• Monitor project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected quality, and allotted budget
• Software design of customized solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems
• Support process controls related activities of site capital projects.
• Interpret user requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget
• Ability to architect programs that are simple to test, well documented and versatile
• Desired Skills & Experience
• Overall, 10-14 years’ experience in Domain like Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Medical Devices and Design Engineering Companies etc.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals process design, execution and maintenance.
• Functional Expertise:

Demonstrated ability to monitor and Control Injectable Process Equipment's and Projects.
Knowledge and understanding of Instrumentation & Process Control engineering concepts and design including circuits, control systems, as well as a general knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems.
Knowledge on manufacturing automation integration.
Educational Qualification: 

BE or ME Instrumentation / Mechanical
