What does the job look like?

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of month-end reporting, preparation of financial reports for executive leadership, and supporting a range of statutory and business reporting requirements.

Key Areas Include:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Manage complex balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Conduct variance analysis and identify key business drivers
• Assist with statutory reporting and audit processes
• Handling multi-currency and international financial transactions
• Manage asset register, payroll provisions, and intercompany transactions
• Assist with financial forecasting and planning
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements

Are you the one?

You’re a qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with strong experience in month-end reporting and financial analysis. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and can communicate complex financial information clearly. You’re proactive, solution-focused, and ready to make an impact by supporting key business decisions.

You Can Demonstrate:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Proven experience in a financial accounting role
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills
