Assistant Project Officer

  • Temporary full-time role to 30 June 2028 located in Greendale / Bents Basin
  • Package includes salary ($99,938 - $110,271) plus super and annual leave loading

Role based on beautiful Dharawal, Dharug and Gundungurra Country’s, working alongside a team of staff in various national parks and reserves, including the recently announced Warranmadhaa National Park in South-west Sydney.

As part of the National Parks and Wildlife Service, you’ll be walking and working on Country—helping care for the land, planning and development of the park infrastructure and facilities, yarning with community, and keeping culture strong. You will be part of a solid, supportive team that values connection to Country, respects cultural knowledge, and have opportunities to work with other Aboriginal staff in the Greater Sydney region.

About the Role 
Assistant Project officer undertakes diverse project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and related administrative tasks to support the development and delivery of projects, in line with established project plans and objectives.

About You   
As an Assistant Project Officer you provide operational support, monitoring and reporting on project plans and managing competing priorities to support the Area and project team.  You will have experience in the provision of administrative and support services and development and delivery of programs and projects.
