Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and repair activities for all fleet vehicles. 
• Monitor and report vehicle activities and performance, utilizing GPS as well as various vendors tracking fuel consumption, driver behavior, and overall utilization. 
• Retrieve, formulate, analyze, and report on various data sets. 
• Maintain accurate operating and maintenance cost records for fleet. 
• Assist in establishing and enforcing policies for fleet operation. 
• Conduct safety meetings and training for all drivers and maintenance staff. 
• Serve as the primary contact for all fleet related matters, effectively communicating with staff, contractors, and vendors. 
• Work with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to acquire products and services. 
• Travel to assigned communities to assess fleet, attend MDOT meetings, and various STAC meetings. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Talents, Skills And Abilities:

• At least two years of experience in fleet management; as well as two years of experience in a logistics role, along with experience in the transporation industry.
